water & gravity sample of my Rose Hip Saison. it has the funk of the WLP565, but attenuated like the WY3711. I think I may "Dry Hip" it with 1oz in a second vessel though

It's been a few years since I've been there, but Falling Rock is a great beer bar. Crooked Stave wasn't open last time I was in Denver, but it should be top of your list if you are interested in brett fermented or wood aged beers.

a Schell's Emerald Rye after making a "WTF? Mead". 4 gallon batch: 1 gallon honey, 3 gallons water, all the elderberries I had in the freezer, and about 15 dried figs. pureed the figs & elderberries. strained the solids out. it smelled horrible before I added the honey, then it smelled awesome.

Yeah, 10 gallon cooler. Pushing the limit with 24# of grain. I had to go with 1.25 qt./ lb. this time. I'm brewing marcb's Belgian Tripel and will be adding about 5#s of sugar to the boil.

And on to a HB blonde.

    DisturbdChemist's lemon basil mead.
This is awesome. Nice sweet mead with an upfront lemon flavor and the basil comes through just a tad in the end. I'm enjoying this alot. Dude, I think your calling may be in mead.

Tapped in to a growler of American Sky Beer, Amber Salute I had filled yesterday. Might be a mistake tho. I have to sit through our granddaughters dance recital. A 3 hour dance recital... Do they still make Jolt Cola? :)

That is exactly what my parent say too lol. Houston needs a meadery. Glad you're enjoying it. The NHC judges did think so but F them :ban:
