I have heard some people describe spruce beer as drinking creosote... but I harvested the tips very young and small. The aroma is there the flavor is fairly mild, and I was very conservative with the hops. This is drinkable, not awful, but also not wonderful. I have more tips in the freezer and plan to go with a paler grain bill and tinker around with this anti scurvy concoction. I cannot wait to hear what you think of my scallop stout!

 

In Orlando for my daughter’s AAU National volleyball championships drinking Jai Alai from Cigar City. Awesome stuff - no pics but most know what it looks like.

 

First pour of my session hazy ipa (3%).. very good and juicy just wishing for more body but at such a low abv I can’t complain that I can drink these all day!

Did your recipe have flaked oats? If not, that's my go to for Pales.

 

It did but next time I brew it I’ll up the quantity.


Also from last night. Last bottle of my hb Irish red. Sucked when I bottled it but is peaking now.

Enjoying the NEBCO beers from @wstbrewing while I go over material for the Security+ exam I need to take soon.

The picture with all the beers is what’s in my cooler I’m taking with me when I make the trip to the Richmond, VA (RVA) area. I’m hoping to do some trades with people down there. I’m not on Facebook so I posted it on Instagram with hopes some people will be interested and reach out to me. Figured since I can’t participate in the next FotD I could do in person trades while I’m on the road.
