Honestly I don't know. When NB had their offer with two IPA kits my father in-law and I went in on it together. He made that one & I made the Kiwi Express. After force carbonating them in our kegs we bottled them with the last straw and split the bottles from each batch.

I've never had the Pliny the Elder by Russian River so I cannot compare it, but it is good and others I know who like IPAs who tried it have enjoyed it too. I will be in San Francisco in July so I will be trying some Pliny then for sure.

Now I do know it clogged my father in-law's FastFerment conical and he ended up having to use his siphon to get the beer into the keg. Other than that I don't recall him having any other issues.

I had this the first time on tap and it was delicious. What I'm drinking now is from a can and I can taste phenols... Cool can though!

Coffee...before grocery shopping. Rain, ice, and snow coming tomorrow night through Saturday morning. I have a bottle of La Bonte Fig from Wicked Weed that I plan on getting around to soon.

Ooh, you're in for a treat. I like to make 5 gallon batches, and then split them up after a few months to experiment with different flavorings.

It's been a year since I've last drank a Yuengling. I made my way east of the Mississippi river today and picked up a couple 12 packs.

Okay 2nd brew for the night and then to lala land..But first let me tell you I found beer paradise! A local liquor store with a HUGE selection of beer! WOW..Couple of pictures of beer porn and what my nightcap is..lol...Nice haul, or what? They had beers I had seen talked about here, Anchor, Stone, Bells, made the choosing hard..Luckily they let shoppers 'build' thier own 6-packs..A bit pricey, but WTH..:) Enjoying the Dirty Bastard...Nice...
