I think the proper response would be "I've never been to a family holiday party that didn't involve mass quantities of alcohol" or something along those lines. :)

Another, while I pack local shelf turds for a trade.

Nothing at the moment. Tired and ready for some drinking as soon as the work is done. Maybe a little before the work is done... May brave the unusually cold weather to have a cigar later, but that doesn't seem likely.

Nice! Might crack it open tonight and have a taste. For $22 a bottle not bad

Damn. That's a good price. That's one of the few Islays I haven't tried. If you end up liking it, pick up some Laphroaig or Lagavulin.

    Water while heating strike water.

Quite good. Citrus on the nose, taste first is hops then fades to wood/vanilla/bourbon and finishes with maple. I am enjoying it. Pick it up if you see it.

Better than the liquid dinner @thatjonguy is probably having.

Finishing a glass of wine. No pic. Maybe (actual) coffee next. I kind of have a sore throat, so I'm not excited about that.

Yeah, no way around it. Selling a house sucks balls. Moving is horror. Never do it. Glad your closing is done and the result is a big check in the bank.
