Water feeling like the floor of a taxi. Last night was the company Christmas party. All I remember is shots kept appearing in my hand and it seemed like a good idea every time

 

Coffee while fixing my TV. Father in law came over yesterday while I was at work and decided he didn't like my picture settings. I may kill him in his sleep...

 

Hot chocolate. Only coffee is decaf or pumpkin spice and neither sound appealing.

Hahaha...I typed coffee out of habit. I'm in the same boat with coffee here. I'm actually drinking hot apple cider, not coffee.

The things you do for judging points. I don't understand the appeal of spending so much time and money on bjcp certification, but as long you enjoy it.

 

Hahaha. Even this hot chocolate is disappointing. Maybe if I add some peppermint mocha kahlua it may get better. Swmbo wouldn't approve of booze this early, but she's not here to discourage me.

This definitely made it better despite the fact I'm not a big fan of peppermint.

Damn, sorry to hear that.

One coffee in and getting ready to go downtown with some friends to do Christmasy things (as in walk around look at decorations, shop, eat, drink) and then to another friends for dinner tonight. Amazing what nine hours of sleep did - I really needed that!

Hydro sample of a disappointment. I hit it with amylase about a week ago and didn't get a gravity change yet.

Just tried fly sparging for the first time... and last time. ugh. time to figure out what I am actually going to brew since I have wort that is half the gravity I was shooting for. I have twice as much of it now too... sortof a win.



drinking water... not for long.

Edit: not as bad as I thought. Still had the pound of corn sugar in the calculator. With it removed it only missed my pre-boil gravity by .05. I will take it. I need to start drinking.

 

I'd like to get that Dale's glass. Good beer. Just finished coffee & a sammich.

Ha. That reminds me of Moe's up Detroit on the strip in old Avon. They serve margarita's in those cups. We'd be driving back home after their huge mission style burrito's sipping on them!
