Celebrating a promotion at work yesterday. Pigged out on Sushi last night and racked up a $125 bill for my wife and I (no alcohol) for just sushi. There will be many beers to come. And, I've maintained my work from home status.

Wow! I have out done myself on this. Sample of my 9.3% RIS that has been on Jameson soaked oak and vanilla for the past three months. Bottling in the next day or so and cannot wait till this is carbed. Its already incredible flat and warm! Thanks for the pointers wobrien. :rockin:

Last night A taste of my warm slightly carbed amber. Should be cold and fully carbed here tonight!! Never really tested how long it takes to cool 5 gal corny...

 

Halfway through my pot o' coffee. Finally found the perfect roast level for the Indian Peaberry beans I have. Almost time to order another 5lbs

Just poured a water after smacking that bomber of home brew. Hate afternoon conference calls. More beer to follow afterwards.

I found out last night that a person who I have been close to (sports-related) passed-away due to ALS. This is the second person that I know that has passed-away from ALS in the last three weeks. I'm still rather young. But every day I wake up I consider it a blessing and live it as best as possible. That's why I continue to do whatever the **** I want while making sure my work gets done and my teams strive toward perfection. Bummer.

It's in my family. My dad's mother, brother and sister have all passed from ALS. He's the only one left. I'm getting arthritis in my hands and elbows and every day I wake up wondering....

**** it! Do whatever makes you happy.

 

It sucks, man. I know so many people (not only those in my family) that are over 80-years old that have not had major complications or have been struck my a disease. They're all lucky. I'm 50 years away from that and every, single day I wonder how I'm going to go. I hope it's not due to some ****ty sickness where I am suffering.

I dont have to be to work till 1 on Thursday, so I like to take advantage of that time off. That normally consists of a beer or two, even if only samples.
