Cold crashing a Kölsch and chilling 6 lagers (Schwarzbier, Oktoberfest, Vienna Lager, Honey Brown, Dortmunder Export, Dunkel) before tossing them in the fermentation chamber.

As convenient as it is, I'm ready for spring.

I also measured the temp of the tap water - down to 36 degrees this morning. Makes for a quick chill.

Careful, I've seen corny kegs split open like a banana when the beer inside froze solid.

Have no fear - they are all safely put away in the fermentation chamber. They were only out for 6 or 7 hours to start the cooling and take some of the load off my chamber.
