Hi, I'm very new at brewing and I tried my hand at brewing apple cider. It's about 3 days in and it has a thick foam sitting on top of it. Is this okay or is it an indication of something home wrong?

99.9% chance its just krausen from happily fermenting yeast and 0.1% chance its something bad. If you want to post a picture of it then we can tell you for sure that it's just krausen :)

Welcome to the forum by the way!

While I'm not an expert by any means, that looks normal to me.

I hope others will chime in.

Looks perfectly normal. Congrats, you've just made hard cider!

Looks great, but wow that is a tiny tiny amount of liquid in a really big bottle.

It was expensive to buy in store. I'm hoping to buy some from a mill next time.
