was on the sparkfun site last nite and saw this. figured some of you would find it to be interesting.

basically the fridge updates you via twitter on how much beer is left in a keg, how many times the handle has been pulled since you last reset it, and keg temp.

might have to make some additions to my temperature setup in the future now...

OH MAN! I wish I knew how the hell to do all that. If they put a kit together, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Yeah, that is pretty freaking cool. But wouldn't need twitter updates. It's be nice just to have aa "Approximate Pints Left" type deal with a simple LED 7Segment Display for each tap.

could also be nice to use those pressure sensors to weigh the co2 tank so you know how much you really have left, and i would want it to email me instead of twitter so i could see if anyone was tapping one of my kegs

That's probably the best use of Twitter that I've seen so far.

OMG - This solves my problem of the teens occasionally hitting my kegs ! I could get a tweet when they draw. Probably have to find some kind of flow sensor detector thingy... But I have the Arduino sitting at home now.

Honestly, it wouldn't be that difficult if you're familiar with Arduino. Check out the Uberfridge post in DIY for a very similar project.
