tried the first bottle

    first bottle of my very first batch,german octoberfest,bb kit 8 days in the bottle,fermented as an ale, first thought was new castle taste,loved it :ban:

    Congrats! Nothing like making good beer yourself. 8 days in the bottle is still very young. I'm sure if you can hang onto it you will have even better beer within the next month or two!

    Congrats! There are few "epiphanies" in life that compare. Now you're hooked for life. I remember my first homebrew. I was shocked and amazed that I actually made it and that it was better than any BMC from the store!

    Congrats.......

    Now you are hooked. I would suggest brewing again ASAP so you can get a good pipeline going. Waiting for brews to mature is much easier with a good pipeline.

    i have a holiday ale 3 weeks in,and plan on making an imperial blonde ale this saturday:rockin:

    I've made 6 brews now and that feeling of accomplishment is still there each time
