Visiting a new bottle shop. All of you more experienced folks can help me out. Are these good and at a good price?

It can vary based on area but those all seem to be within $1-$2 of what we pay in Portland. IMO all of those are at least worth a try.

I think so, but I'm basing my opinion against Philly pricing. Southern NJ I've seen shops with SiR at around 23-25.00, and for the larger bottle format sisters, that's a fair cost.

Only Sofie would be a sister ;) But that's what we pay in Chicago for those GI's

oO just noticed something, and the devil is in the details here...are those bottles near any windows and exposed to light? Those bottles are dated....very dated. If they are in an aisle and away from the light, I would jump all over them, but if they had 365 days worth of sun light hitting them for two years, run.

They are far from any window and they're bombers. I'll have to go back.

On another note, I was picking up some Brooklyn Black Chocolate. They had 4 packs of "winter 13-14" for $8.99 I went to a rack that had single bottles which were "winter 12-13" for $2 each. Grabbed 9 of them. Great day!

Yeah I saw that. But the dock street press release said it's tapped on the 30th with growlers available.

I don't think Dock Street has bottled their beer since like 1999.

Wonder though, if this is a cross promotion, if they will bottle some?

I'm jealous that I don't have a world class constant whale producer by me so I can constantly trade for amazingness

I think they do bottle. They have some special releases and six packs to go. But I don't know if they will bottle this one.

NuclearRich hooked it up! Looking forward to drinking these. There's one more homebrew not shown. It has to chill in the fridge now that boxes of beer don't arrive at serving temperature.

Is there any other place to go when work sucks? Maybe a bar, but you're still buying beer :D

Oh it will find a great place in my cellar. I'd be curious to see how time holds up the fruit addition. It will make for a good experiment, I think

I'll post pictures the next time I do the poor, fat man's version of Prop; Dark Chocolate Coconut TastyCakes dunked in BCBS
    OMG so good
I also did a Randall with BCBS and coconut, too. Top notch. I'm buying my own home Randall just for this reason.
