I picked up a bottle of Allagash Tiarna today at my bottle shop bc it looked/sounded interesting. Expensive though. Has anyone here tried it yet? Any thoughts?

Yes they do! Bill I have a saison on tap right now that was all Falconer's Flight hops and I used yeast harvested from a Tired hands 32oz Growler that you had sent me "My Favorite Show" Soooooo good! Give me a week or so here and remind me and I'll send you some! It's fruity awesomeness.

    Not without trading.

    A. They were only released in Chicago.
    B. They were released on Black Friday and haven't been in stores for quite some time...

Be carefull... that's about $40 worth of beer and $15 worth of packing materials and shipping costs.

My first car was less expensive. :)

Seriously though, if you and/or DC want to work something out let me know! I have a bunch of glassware that was on your list also.

That must make it close to 10 props I've seen you trade for. Are you drinking most of that or re-trading? I have heard it is starting to fade, any truth?

I have recently had some people I know get a lot and I had multiples of a bunch of stuff they wanted, so have been trading for more. I have not re-traded any yet, but am not opposed to that. So far it has just been to drink and share. I am taking one to a share this weekend, then another in a couple weeks, then probably take one to Dark Lord Day also. As far as taste, It is definitely one of the best beers I have had. I haven't noticed any dropoff. A few friends had it recently as well and they said the same thing. I imagine some of that is people trying to drive the trade value down.

If I was able to get multiples of both of them I'd take that offer in a heartbeat. DC, on the other hand, can probably do something.

Bigmike99 hooked me up. There are only 3 Bengalis shown because the fourth is about to go in my belly :).

Awesome trade - the Southampton imperial porters are extras.

Looking forward to trying them all.

2012 Riserva??? Damn, that was the one that someone put anthrax in. I'm going to Weyerbacher Saturday. Send it to me and i'll return it to the brewery in exchange for a 14

I've spent the last few years building up an immunity to anthrax, so I'm good. :). Feel free to send me a 2014 to test for you. :)

    Yes on the 2012 now.

Don't listen to Mike. He obviously knows nothing about Riserva, or interwebz security (anthrax, really? Might as well say kill the p...)

Or he's trying to get that Riserva off you...

Mike, you should go Thursday, we could meet up. Plus 2014 will be gone by Saturday

No way...don't tell me that. Does it sell out that quick? 2012 sat on shelves at my local bottle shop for about 8 months

    No I'm total bs.

2014 is getting distro'd hard and heavy. No doubt we'll find it turding up shelves over the next few months.

Not sure how much they'll hold back for brewery sales though.

I honestly have no idea what they'll have at the brewery on Saturday but if you want a case I'm sure you don't have to show up Thursday to get it.

On the other hand, if you do decide to go Thursday PM me. It would be a shame if we missed each other

TH from weyerbacher is an hour and twenty minutes. If it was just me and my boy, we'd do it. But the wife made sure her and the kids were involved. To the crayola factory they go while we load up on Riserva, hopefully.
