    Not Vermont.
    So......
    It's east coast
    Not PA
    It's a DIPA
    It's not a southern brewery.

Well, that leaves New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Rode Island, Delaware, and Maine.

I'll guess Maine Beer Co - Dinner

Is it Carton Brewing Co? I have to admit I'm completely clueless about your hint. No idea how that could not be Godfather, unless it was something referencing Godfather and you're referencing the reference.

    It is carton well done.
And I don't need you to give me the name of the beer because it's gone on long enough.
    My hints are as follows.
I was quoting Randal Graves from the movie Clerks.
Clerks was set in New Jersey, Randal Graves (Jeff Anderson) is from Atlantic Highlands, this is where Carton is located.
The box, specifically a USPS box, is indeed a carton, more so a Caron that needs a postal code( zip code) and cartons only DIPA a is there zip code, 077XX.
    Well done Chocotaco
I honestly thought it would have been guessed sooner.

It is neither a bock nor a dubbel. The beer is actually rather dark for the style.
