    Brewers,

I just wanted to re-post a recipe that I found while searching for a Terrapin Hop Karma clone. All credit is due to marc06. It's his recipe, but I wanted to re-post and share. If you're a fan of this beer I highly recommend. I think the style fits perfectly with the weather as it cools off. Great hybrid type beer. The only difference I can tell between this recipe and the real deal is a small difference in mouthfeel. The Terrapin version seems just a tad thicker. Thoughts? Enjoy!

I used some washed Notty I had on hand instead of the Wyeast 1272 that marc06 has below.

Recipe looks great! So great, I'm going to brew it on Friday. How did yours turn out? Anything you would modify? My LHBS didn't have American Ale II but suggested White Labs Pacific Ale yeast so I got some. Any experience with this yeast? I also have S-05 if you think it would work better. Thanks!

Brewed it Sunday and used the Pacific Ale yeast. Fermentation was ferocious in about 12 hours and was blowing off like crazy. Looking forward to tasting it!

The recipe doesn't include a target FG. Do you know where yours ended up and how did you like the results?

When I brewed it, mine ended up at 1.010. I used the Wyeast 1272 because, in an interview with Spike on the Brewing Network, he said their house yeast was the 1272. Im getting ready to brew this for the fall. I can't wait!
