Temperature sensors for dummies

I have a couple of these controllers:

One on my keezer, and I just purchased a second for my fermentation chamber.

I am looking for a replacement temperature probe (one that can be used inside a thermowell) but don't really know what I'm looking for.

Sensor specs from thermostat manual: NTC(10K/3435)

I have done some Google searching, but I don't know exactly what to look for. Can anyone with some knowledge in this area point me in the right direction?

 

you are looking for a thermistor, specifically a negative temperature cooeficient thermistor... 10K/3435 refers to specific attributes of the sensor

10k = the resistance at 25*C (ohms)
3435 = B25/85 value

check out an example datasheet to see how they are normally spec'd...
