I have some swing tops from beer bottles.
Do I need to remove the rubber ring to sanitize properly or can they stay on and just dip the whole bottle in starsan?

How many times can they be reused?

I typically pop them off and clean them separate. Once clean, I reassemble and dip in Starsan. I've reused them a few times with no issues. They do make silicone ones that last long r too.

I have 5 bombers with swing tops that I use for almost every batch. I think I'm using the same seals after 150 batches.

I don't remove the seals for any special cleaning. I do imerse the bottles in Idophor to sanitize and work the seal back and forth a few times, but that is all.

They seal just fine every time. They are the first bottles I open each batch, so they don't have beer in them for any length of time; maybe a month.
