    All,

    I wanted to briefly share my quote from Stout Tank & Kettles with regard to my 20 gallon MT, HLT, and BK. Please note below. I've done a bit of research and have requested a few custom options. Anything else that you recommend prior to hitting the PayPal icon? Thank you,

    BK20TW-TI-SG-RF-EL1. (Custom). 20 Gal. Brew Kettle with (1) 1.5in. TC Port for electric element w/1in. NPS adapter, Thermowell, Tangential Inlet, Sight Glass, (2)3/4in. valves, (2) 1/2in. hose barbs, clamps/gaskets. Actual capacity approx. 21.5 gal.
    *** ADD RF PORT SAME LOCATION AS MT20TW ***
    *** ADD TC THERMOMELL IN REAR 30 DEGREES FROM EL PORT. ***

    HL20TW-RHC-SG-EL1-RF (367). 19.8 Gal. Hot Liquor Tank with Thermowell, RAISED HERMS COIL, Sight Glass, Port for Electric Element, Extra Recirculation Fitting (like mash tun), Clamps, Gaskets. Includes (1) 3/4in. valve, (1) 1in.NSP Adapter, (3) 1/2in. hose barbs, clamps, gaskets.

    MT20TW-RF-BO. (Custom). 19.8 Gal. Mash Tun with bottom outlet, recirculation fitting, thermowell, (2) 1/2" hose barbs, (1) 3/4" ball valve, clamps/gaskets.
    *** ADD RF PORT OPPOSITE EXISTING RF PORT ***

    Excuse my ignorance, but what's an RF port?

    I also have a custom order all ready waiting on me to push the PayPal button.

    I believe it's the Recirculation Fitting. Did you request any custom options at all? Cheers!

    Ah, makes sense. Only thing I added was a second RF port in the MLT, so 1 for recirc and 1 for sparge arm. Still procrastinating, not sure why.

    I don't have any stout kettles, but I recall reading a few posts regarding the diameter of their HERMS coil in the HLT being somewhat restrictive. A few people have used the 1/2' coil from Zach at stainless brewing as a substitute. I'm not sure what is involved in using a different coil but I think it would be worth looking into before pulling the trigger.

    They put a recirc port on the electric HLT. Think it's not necessary on a direct fire version? My last decision before placing my order.
