Ok so I'm trying to figure an oatmeal stout recipe, here's what I have so far...

    4.5# 2-row
    1.5# Munich
    .75# Oats
    .5# Chocolate
    .5# Roasted Barley

    1oz Cascade (60 min)
    .5oz Tettnag (60 min)

    S-04 yeast

    60 min boil

    boil size 3.25 gal
batch size 5 gal topped up

Will the roasted barley and chocolate be too potent or will it be fine?

    thanks for the help

I'm no expert just got into brewing but I think that would be fine. But don't trust my word on it

I thought it would be fine. I was at the lhbs and just grabbed a bunch off the top of my head, want to use my leftovers for a 3% session beer.

Well usually don't you use a pound of one of them for a stout? So I think .5 of each should be fine.
