Perhaps some of you using this model of control have some insight for me.

I am building a fermentation chamber and using the an STC-1000 controller and was able to test it last night and ran into this issue. I can hear the relay click on after the compressor delay, but no power goes to the fan I plugged in for testing.
I took the wiring apart and checked everything over and re-assembled finding no issues. Tested fan as well, no issues. Still the same problem after re-assembly.
One thing I will add is that when I attached the wiring for the receptacle to the controller, I may have over tightened it as I noticed the tiny plastic screw-down assembly is now loose.
I'm afraid I may have lost the connection to that assembly.

Do any of you have experience with a similar problem?
    What was the outcome?

    Thanks in advance

If you can post up a picture on how you have it all wired. I think then we can help better understand whats going on..

    Cheers

    Thanks so much cannman.

So I realized how silly I had been. My electrical class popped into my head and I saw my old teacher explaining the neutral and hot wire.

So I also ended up twisting the connector off the circuit board and had to repair it.

All is well and working perfectly.

    Cheers

Apparently I don't know my own strength. Just being over cautious, I didn't want it working loose and causing any issue.

    Learned my lesson there.

I have 2 more of these on order, I'm see where I can improve in other areas of homebrewing.

Next up I'm making a keg cooler in my cold room and a fermentation chamber in my brew room. The freezer/fermentation chamber will change over to a keezer on casters with a bar top and tap set. So many great ideas in the forum.

    Cheers all!
