My wife and I have very recently been selected to chair a brand new event for our Elks lodge for charity, it is a craft beer tasting event, and it is already scheduled to be held October 4! I have lots of questions and could use some advice.

The Elks Club has a bar and liquor license, however this event is being held outside and will hopefully be hosted by volunteer breweries. Do we need to worry about any special licensing?

Do any of you have contacts for breweries, brew masters or related businesses in upstate NY that may want to participate? We are looking primarily for brewers to provide tastings as a tax deductible donation, also we will have some vendor tables (no food, as Elks will be preparing a selection of German foods to sell), we would love to have entertainment or presentations, and maybe even donations we could raffle off?
