Son of Ferm Chiller fan question

    All the pc fans at my local stores have 3 wires coming out of them, Ken's diagram shows 2......can I use the 3 wire and just cut the yellow lead?

    I just put the yellow lead with the black lead and wired it up to the power supply. Seemed to work fine..........or I guess you could use it as a so called "ground" wire if you wanted to.

    Usually the third, yellow lead is from a rotation detector that is used by the peecee to determine fan RPMs. In such cases it should just be left unconnected...
