I bought silver solder to use with soldering a couple of couplers to a boil kettle. The solder had a low melting point at 450 degrees which made it easy to work with but I didnt take in consideration now that I use a 74000 btu burner that might get the solder to hot and cause it to melt again. Is this a possible problem or will it be fine? If any one has some answers
it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Cheers,
    Andrew

As long as there is water in the kettle, the solder cannot get anywhere near the melting temperature. No problem.

Agreed, with liquid in the kettle, it won't get that hot.
