Haven't made a label in a long time so I'm stepping back into the game with this one for my Leftovers IPA (made with leftover hops from other beers). It is printed on a clear label sheet, so the brown background shown here is only to represent the beer bottle. Really happy with this one!

This is beautiful - clean, and hits the retro theme spot-on.

Yup. Love the wax. Can I do that with wine bottles & corks?

Thanks! I am happy with this year's batch. And bottles! Not sure about corks, I've never done that, but I don't see why not. This wax is a super dark purple. Basically, took all the kids' dark broken crayons and melted them down and added a handful of hot glue sticks to make it extra thick.

Man I love that label. Reminds me of Stephen Gammell's art (Scary Stories). Awesome.

Thanks. It's just a negative image scan of a charcoal drawing I did during an art session with the kids. :)
    Cheers!

Had to do a Star Wars themed gift exchange. They got a copy of the original trilogy (VHS) and most of this set.

Most recent generic label of the week. It will change when I get bored and some free time. This was the 1st batch on my updated ghetto herms system and will bottle next week.

I mocked up two different labels for the Centennial Blonde, which I am renaming "Vienna Blonde" since ~1/2 the malt was Vienna instead of 2-row, and I didn't know which one I liked better.

    So, I made them both.

    Thanks! It's called Cinzel Decorative. I like it a lot, it's font-tastic.

I think the technical term is "typeface-tastic". =)

Thanks for sharing both the label and the typeface, while I'm personally not one for long descriptions of the beer on the label (I don't want the "explanation" to affect my own judgment, I guess) it does look very clean and sharp, great job. =)

I brewed this months ago but just found the inspiration for a label recently. Deschutes Twilight clone!

Another label idea but its missing a little something in the main body. Cant quite put my finger on what would make it not as plain. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Happy New Years Homebrewtalk friends!

Is it really .5% ABV? I do like the label. Maybe add your name or hometown.

I don't know how to curve or wrap or whatever you call the process to the lettering, but it would improve them I think. If some one can do that for me Id be obliged.

Hah, just discovered this part of the forum. I've got quite a few labels. This is the latest one I've developed for a Xmas stout I made.
