So, I am in the process of going pro, we will be using a 5bbl system from Psycho Brew, which is essentially 2 2.5bbl setups together..Does anybody have a calculation or program for scaling up from 5gallon batches? I know my efficiencies and hops utilization should be better as the recipe is scaled. Thanks

I have the beersmith app on my ipad that I use for homebrewing, I just haven't played with it too much..I started brewing 12 years ago and have always been kind of old school, pen and paper and brew log type.

I guess I should play with beersmith a bit more. :drunk:

Beersmith will help you scale recipes to an extent, but it scales everything linearly, and you can change your brewhouse efficiency if you have an idea of what it will be.

As far as knowing efficiencies and utilizations, I don't know of a way you can know those without doing a couple batches.
