Robot Breweries

This is pretty amazing. I don't think I want a beer made by a robot.

 

There's already a beer making machine on the market (can't seem to find it right now but there were some threads about it before...maybe it wasn't released yet?). I don't see anything inherently wrong with these...it's just a smaller scale version of the automated brewing systems that you see on this forum. I don't think it would be a huge problem in the hands of a homebrewer who understands the process. Where I do see a problem, is when something goes wrong and "average Joe" who bought the system to make great beer can't figure it out. Can you imagine a contamination and a person just keeps brewing batch after batch thinking it will just "fix" itself?

 

you're thinking of Pico Brew i believe...

 

No pico brew is the one they talk about in this article. There was another one that looked like a cylinder and was small enough to set on a counter.

Ive ordered the PicoBrew and shopuld get it in June. Ill report back after Ive used it.
