I am getting ready to pipe my kegs to 2 different locations in my house. 2 Taps in the Kitchen and 2 taps in my Bar. The Bar runs will be about 30' and the Kitchen runs will be about 40' with 15' rise. Does anyone have any good ideas for line refrigeration?

There has been some discussion here about it but I don't know anyone that has implimented a glycol chilled system. At that distance, the typical cooling fan system is not going to cut it.

Hmmm. I'm not at ALL familiar with these systems, but I think they put the lines in a PVC pipe, then circulate the chilled water/whatever around the bundle.

I guess if you had a copper line that went up into a fridge unit or something then used a small water pump to push it all, you could get it to work.

You'll need a commercial type line cooler. www.micromatic.com has the glycol coolers, lines, pumps and a forum discussing nothing but beer dispensing.

The Micromatic stuff looks like what I am looking for.
