Thought I would share this short clip of the active fermentation on my maple pumpkin ale

Uploading a GIF from my phone. Hopefully this works.

Darn, I'll try to get it as a YouTube clip or something. Using US05 rehydrated. Took about 24 hours to take off but has been churning like crazy for 60 hours

Same thing happened to me when I used S-04 in an English Brown. I love when yeast is happy!

I'm really interested in the recipe. Do you have a blow off tube or does it seem unnecessary? I can't see the neck of the bottle.

Room temp was around 67 beer seemed to hover right around 70, upper end of what i like but the tub has a crack in it and it won't hold water anymore.

Also so for the long delay, finally had a chance to get this uploaded. I now see that the homebrewtalk app on my phone turned the gif into a JPEG image.. weird.

Yikes. I've only used S-05 once, but it wasn't anything like that! My guess would have been S-04. I'm using S-05 today, and I'll be one happy homebrewer if my fermentation is HALF of this.
