And carboys, coming home after brewing with friends.

 

We love them, and want them to make the trip home safely...... and not kill us or decapitate us on the way.

 

So nobody just puts them on the roof of the car with their kid and tells 'em to hold on tight? I feel like I have been abusing my beer now...

 

Just strap it to the roof with Aunt Edna.

"Raw Dumpster Focaccia" would be a good name for a band.

I hope everyone was able to keep things under control this week.

 

I'm not a concrete finisher, but I worked at an equipment rental place in the 60s. Safety just wasn't a thing then.

I started up a power trowel like that one, on a dry concrete floor, and the throttle was locked down. Knocked me down and started spinning like a demented helicopter. Thing like to have beat me to death before I got it stopped. Sore for days!

 

That thing needs a beating with a shovel once it's subdued.
