raising hot keggle for gravity flow?

    I have a burner stand that looks kinda like this:

    It's a decent high to brew at with a keggle, maybe it could be a few inches higher to tip out the bulk head though. It's not a good height for gravity flows to carboy after brewing. Anyone ever face a dilemma like this?

    Yes. I have one that is similar. I started out having to chill the wort, then picking up the kettle and sitting it on a picnic table to drain my kettle. Then, I just started putting the burner on the picnic table. Then, I built a brew rig utilizing the burners on an old aquarium stand. Ingenuity will come to you. Rather it's cinder blocks or a table of some sort.

    I do have a welder. An aquarium stand would seem to command a fair bit of space. Cinder blocks seem heavy to push around. hmm, probably some type of table that could fit over the top of the keggle for storage...

    I use a large log segment that we use for chopping wood on. At least I did until my roomates decided to see who could split it... bastids...
