    Hey everyone
I have a dilemma, I've entered for a local Spartan race in August. I want to make some home brew for my team for after the race. I'm going to be racing with beer lovers and none beer lovers. I need something that is middle of the road and something that won't be heavy for a New England summer. Suggestions please

I find a nice deep red is absolutely refreshing. Non-beer drinkers can usually handle a good malty red or a nice mild blonde.

I did the carmel amber ale that has been raved about from the recipe section. (Sorry for not citing the original brewer).

I made it for a bunch of friends for after the warrior dash and it was a huge hit. Not too heavy which helps following a race. But both beer and non beer drinkers alike enjoyed the brew.
