I am planning to try my 2nd batch this weekend. I'll be bottling my first, Rogue Dead Guy ale, this weekend freeing up my fermenter :rockin:

So i'm going to use the PM recipe seeing as i don't have all the equipment to do AG yet.

    PM recipe

    4.5# Extra Light DME
    2# Marris Otter
    1.5# Munich
    .75# Honey Malt

    .50 Oz Centennial (60)
    .25 Oz Cascade (40)
    .25 Oz Cascade (30)
    .25 Oz Cascade (20)
    .25 Oz Cascade (10)
.25 Oz Mt Hood or Hallertau (5)

Dry hop secondary with .5 Oz Centennial for 7 days.

My question is pretty simple and i've probably answered it myself. The numbers in parentheses and bolded above are for how long that particular hop should boil in the wort right?

Yes. 60 = hop is in the boil for 60 min. 5 = hop is in the boil for 5 min.

FYI, I think the dry hop is a mistake for a clone. I like it better with the dry hop, but Fire Rock does not have that much hop aroma.

Hmm he suggests it in both the AG and PM. No matter, i'm gonna go for it (first time dry hopping) and see how it is. I can't always make another batch right? :D
