Pubs in Vienna and Budapest

Hi there. Sorting the last details of my next trip to Hungary and Austria. I´ll be a 8 days in Budapest and 5 in Vienna. Does anybody knows about any good beer pubs in any of those places?
Any other tips or advice on those destinations are also welcome.

I don't know anything about Vienna or Budapest, but my friend just posted on fb about a basement bar in Budapest with railroad tracks on the floor and a Hungarian Pu Pu platter.

 

Yeah ruin pubs are the thing in Budapest, on my way to Madrid now I'll stay there for a couple days of days and then I'll head to Budapest I'll post if I find something interesting

Nice clean pub in the middle of Budapest, the personnel knew what they where serving and knew english. Ask if they have something thats not in the menu:

Tried the strawberry soup, was very nice. It was 95 F. Also tried the cheese plate which was reallt nice as well and big enough for 2.
