I am building a single tier system and want to use 3 SQ14s plumbed to run from a single 20lb propane tank and need a little guidance regarding which regulator/needle valves/feeder line size & make up.

I have searched the threads for some time now, and have been unable to find anyone doing this.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

How many burners will you run at one time?

    Hi Stealthcruiser, thanks for replying,

Even though I plan to only have two going at a time, I may like the flexibility of running all 3.

Lots of folks will plumb their single tier systems with 3/8 tubing, all the way up to 1 inch black iron piping, that I have seen!
I'll have to let the others chime in, that have such setups.

made mine from 1/2 black iron pipe along with 2 sections from the watts fitting area at home depot.
This would have been around 2 years ago, so unfortunately i do not have any numbers or anything :(
Do you have any ideas on how you want to run it? ir'd be way helpful :)

30 psi reg to some 3/8 iron pipe with ball valves for each burner. From there, 1/4" copper to each of the burners. Get yourself one of those battery powered electronic ignitors ... invaluable!

Thanks for posting. I am building a rig as well and was wondering the same. I will keep an eye on what everyone has to say. I myself am running 3 burners.
