    I need to build a second stir plate and ran across this deal. I have this same fan without the light in my current build and it works really well. I paid $7 for that one.

    This comes with a control potentiometer!

    You can splice in just about any 5 to 12 VDC power supply. My current one runs on an old 7.5 cell phone charger.

    Sounds difficult :)

    Just kidding. I have 2 that I made that have a USB connection, but I think they are about $14 each, so a bit pricier.
