Old Aluminum 10 gal pot. Can i use?

    Sorry no pics. It was kept outside for a while. Not cleaned. What should i be looking for to know if it's not usable?

    I have PPW should i soak it and then boil it for 30 mins and see how it looks?

    Pitting would be the biggest problem, but even that could be sanded / polished out. Use it!

    Clean, boil some water in it. Rock and roll.

    yes make sure you oxidize it turning it gray before using, the reason is it might release small amounts of aluminum if not done correct, like above boil water at the top for an hour or bake in the oven at 300 for an hour, Ive make great beer from my first aluminum pot so brew on!
