The great Chris Johnson picked up 21% of his rushing yards this season last night....but ****, he's a legit starter on half the teams in NFL. Right now even!

Name one player that has gone to the Jets and actually gotten better in the last 10 years. Look at Sanchez right now. Put him around good players and he isnt horse $hit like he was for the JEts. Look at Harvin and Decker. Not the greatest receivers in the game, but they were damn good when they actually had someone throwing them the ball. Even Revis was better before and after playing for the JEts.

Johnson had 6 consecutive 1,000 yard seasons, including a 2,000 yard season, before going to the Jets. Hard to argue that.

I can think of a few teams that could use Chris Johnson.

    Are you serious?

    1) Reavis was one of the top defensive players in the NFL before he tore his ACL and was shown the door to Tampa. He's a very good defense back but it's arguable if he's the best DB right now let alone the best defensive player in the league. He was also a cancer to management constantly trying to get his outsized contract even more outsized.

    2) Are you honestly trying to sell anyone on Sanchez? I don't recall Rex Ryan, Tannebaum, or Idzik throwing picks left and right or closing their eyes, and sprinting face first into their lineman's ass. Sanchez's mistakes are on him. He's in a very good system in Philly but he's still Mark Sanchez....Just wait for it. Sanchez does not have the ability to put a team, any team, on his shoulders and win games when they count.

    3) Harvin did nothing for Seattle this season. He was a cancer. He's actually done better with the Jets (hard to believe, but it's true) but probably because he wants to get paid. Decker's hasn't played badly either. His numbers don't look great because his QB is Mike Vick/Geno instead of Peyton Manning. Neither player came to the Jets and have had their careers or abilities minimized.

    4) Alan Faneca, Damien Woody, LaDaminan Tomlinson, Thomas Jones, Braylon Edwards, Cromartie (we miss you), Chris Ivory (very solid)..... Yeah, we've had plenty of FA disasters (Brett Favre) but for the most part Tannebaum knew what he was doing. Now, Ireland that's a different story.....

Haha Must be slow day at the accounting firm ;) You go ahead and keep believing that players dont come to NY to have their career killed. You even said it yourself about how the Jets will draft another promising QB and kill his hopes for being successful.

There were a lot of teams lining up to sign Johnson in the off-season right? The Jets clearly had to get in a huge bidding war for him, right?

Oh wait. No. They got him for 2 yrs - $8 mill. That's pennies in the NFL.

Why? I mean yeah he had all those consecutive thousand yard seasons in Tennessee but in 2013 he only averaged 3.9 yds a rush and finished with 1,077 yds. Well below a premier back. Starting in 2011, he hasn't exceeded double digit rushing TDs (highest was 6, so awesome). He was also a cancer in Tennessee.

He's not even the #1 RB on the Jets depth chart - that's Chris Ivory who really could be a starting RB for almost any other team. Johnson is completely over-rated. If you were subjected to any other Jets games this season you would see a hesitant running back who relies on elite cut back speed that doesn't exist.

But yeah, I guess since he picked up 21% of his total rushing yardage against Miami that he's an elite RB. Let's ignore also that he has more games rushing for less than 50 yards than exceeding 50 yards (8 vs 4) and he only has 1 rushing TD this season. You're embarrassing yourself.

I'd rather argue on the internet than write another environmental report for a petroleum company (we're not that evil anymore, just ignore what's coming out of your tap.....)

I'm not sure if it's the Jets that will destroy Mariotta/Winston or it'll be the media. Can we all agree that Jameis Winston would be an epic disaster in NY? He has the maturity of 12 year old - he would be ruined in less than a seasons time. I think Mariotta would fair better. He's the better QB and seems to have it together (just like Aaron Hernandez did!).

If we can't get either player I can totally see us going down the RGIII road. Lot's of subway franchises to endorse in NY/NJ but if he couldn't handle D.C.....

Again, Chris Johnson never had a decent QB to run behind in Tennessee, yet still put up those numbers. And Im not surprised Rex put him #2 on the depth chart. Ivory is big hitter which is needed when thats the only thing you have going on offense. Plus, Rex is an idiot and doesnt know how to use his players to his advantage. They dont even know what to do with Harvin. Here is a hint, THROW HIM THE BALL. But again, they couldnt even pick a decent QB to do that. Player management is atrocious.

I will agree with you that I would love to see Winston picked by the Jets. He needs a reality check.

    Carry on :D

Yup, I would define rock bottom as going to a pro basketball game, getting invited to the locker room to hang out with the players and getting to meet a pop star that is right around your age. That would be just awful. Not sure how those guys could bear to live on.

Haters gonna hate. It's who they are.

Anyway...for like the hundredth time this season, the Patriots are playing in The Game Of The Week.

So you haters can bask in that warm glow...while knowing there isn't a quarterback alive that wouldn't trade his left nut to be the guy banging Giselle.

Well, except for that Discount Double-Check Dude...

    Cheers! ;)
