Being a Packers fan in Giants country, I have a thick skin. Imagine what would happen to someone in Boston who wore a Jets jersey. Twelve year old kids spit on you.

I wonder how much of that has been used at Gillette since '08?

Matta a fact.... I was at a bah in Long Island two nights ago and the bartender was a huge Colts fan who went to the Pats Colts game a few weeks ago an he was amazing at how cool the fans were. And the Colts are a helluva bigger rival than the Jets. The Colts, until this year, have actually been competition.

The only "fight" I ever had at a game was here in NY, on the train platform at Yankees Stadium with a decked out Boston fan who decided to push my little brother (17 at the time). He had no clue I was behind him and paid for it dearly.

Two of my friends were escorted out of Fenway, covered in beer and mustard, after THEY called security because of what was going on. The Red Sox gave them a set of tickets but asked them to leave because it was causing a commotion, even though it wasn't their fault and security knew it. The tickets were sent back smelling like something that I won't confirm came from a dog...

I've seen nonsense in Philly too to be fair.

FWIW, Joe Biden, (our Vice President, for those of you that don't know ;) ) was on Milwaukee radio today and proudly claimed to be a lifelong Packer fan. Apparently the priests running his grammar school had their headquarters in DePere (a GB 'burb) and every time the Pack won, his school would let out early the next day.

Oh, and as far as intolerable fans go, Bears fans are the absolute worst. Or, in baseball, White Sox fans.

Philly really has to be worst overall out of any city, even NYC.

I thought about Oakland but other than the Raiders there isn't much. Philly is die hard and horrible about all of their sports.

Yea, I made some edits above. ;). The gangbangers would be my concern on the west coast & I'm not sure if you get that on the east. Had them at AZ Cardinal games too. And some rather tenuous post game walks out to the parking lot.

Yeah, you guys are right. Philly fans get the dubious award. The Milwaukee radio station I mentioned earlier has a contest every week and sends the winner for free to wherever the Packers are playing. Last year they guy that won tix to the playoff game in Philly came out after the game and found his car trashed.

You wouldn't do anything to a drunken Yankees fan who pushed your little brother to the floor right? Just walk away, or berate him with your obnoxious speak?

Bravo sir, I see what you did there.

Not a specific city, but I think we can all agree that soccer fans are by far the most annoying.

Speaking of soccer, I recommend the movie Green Street Hooligans if you haven't seen it.

Movie is awesome. Speaking of Elijah Wood, I recommend the show Wilfred (us version).

First of all if you want to watch wilfred (which is a fantastic show) you should see the original first instead of the yank version which doesn't make any sense till you've watched the original. Secondly if were talking footy I invite you to watch a real Aussie rules or Rugby league match instead of those pretty pad wearing princesses in the NFL, I'd rather watch LFL......

Rugby is pretty brutal and I've heard this argument a million times, but american rules football players hit harder than probably any other professional sport. The "protection" gives a player the sense of security. Running full speed and hitting head to head multiple times a game without any pads or helmet would be literally committing suicide.
