Well Packer's helmet logo #1 has already been ripped off of my office door, approximately 15 minutes after the tour started. Let's see how long #2 lasts. I've also been in two shouting matches and one tackling incident. Been at work for 2 only hours. ;)

Long range weather, just cold that's all...Unless it changes, should be a great night for football.

I'm planning a tailgate for when I'm at that Pats/Broncos game and you guys are talking about eating testicles... how brutally appropriate.

Pffft. Weather!?! That's funny. Yeah, cause the Pats don't play "in weather"? Who's the freakin schmuck who came up with that gem?

The only "weather" that could make a difference is lightening striking about a dozen Pats starters. Then maybe "weather" would be a factor.

i think he meant that bad weather will lower all scoring in general.

not bad weather will help broncos.

but, the random cape freakouts are funny, so.....carry on.

I honestly hope Tebow gets sacked so hard that his shoes are left stuck to the turf where he was standing...

Relax bub. You should know I'm a gambler (and unlike dataz, a winner); and weather influence points - i.e. how much money I'm gonna make picking the total.

Alright alright... I know WildWests and a few others strong preference for balls but lets be serious for a second and talk tailgate food.

I think we're going clam bake. I have two huge metal tubs that we do the clam bakes in. We'll pre-heat 5-10 gallons of ocean water (GOTTA use salt water right outta the ocean) and then put a couple inches of water in each tub. Potatoes, lobsters, clams, king crap legs.... corn on the cob if I can find it... and then a box o' cheap white wine... some bulbs of garlic and some old bay. Seal the tubs up with tin foil and toss 'em on the turkey fryers. BoooooooYAHHHH

the camper's got two taps mounted on the side and I'm thinking a smoked porter and... not sure yet. I don't have a damn IPA ready right now. Probably a Dunkle on the other tap.

I am thinking "skillet dip" as an app before all of that too... homemade mexican chorizo layered in a huge cast iron skillet... topped with about two lbs of cheddar cheese and eaten with tortilla chips. Beats WildWests' balls all day long.

not sure on post game. Maybe chili? Maybe homemade meatballs for meatball subs.

    Hmmmm...

yeah, i would keep praying... Denver's vaunted D put up 41 sacks on the year... a grand total of ONE more than New England's 40.

... and for how horrible the Pats D is... they let up less points per game than Denver's D.

That's ok... I'm sure the Bronco offense can out-duel the Pats O at Gillette.

I must admit, being a Pat's fan must be an expensive endeavor, especially someone with season tickets. I'd be going to every playoff game. The only reason I'm not bankrupt is because my team is so far away.

    (trash talk hat temporarily removed)

it is NOT cheap at all. We are really REALLY lucky in that we don't have personal seat licenses though so it isn't as expensive as Jets/Giants or other teams. Our tickets are among the most expensive in the NFL but... without the PSLs, it's isn't THAT bad.

My two seats are $1,800 per year for the two. On top of that, it costs us $120 per game to park a 14 foot tow-behind camper that is tricked out just for tailgating. That doesn't count a drop to drink or bite to eat.

Playoffs, the ticket face values go up to $99 for the divisional game and $119 for the AFC Championship and they nailed us for those tickets well over a month and a half ago. If the Pats lose, any ticket money I paid gets put into my account for next year.... I don't get the cash back.

.... and I certainly don't have the most expensive seats in the stadium.

It's not cheap but it's a blast. We have a great core group of friends that tailgate together and we make a full day of it. Lastly... I only live about 10-15 minutes from Gillette and that makes ALL of the above a lot easier.

(trash talk hat placed back on).

That and you have to have to wait out the waiting list for years just to get an opportunity (if ever) to get season tickets..

I would comment on the waiting list but don't want such a display of ego to drive WildWest into a fit of uncontrollable sobbing.

    you're too late.

ours are $60/seat, goal line 1/2 way up. we always park at a friend's house about 2 blocks away. no idea what playoff tickets are.

Television rating for the final quarter hour: 31.6
    Rothlisberger's interception: 3rd and 16

Why are there people on the ice now? Just because it is January does not mean the ice is safe. Every year it is either the fox or the 'bago someone dies from rampant stupidity. It was 50F yesterday. I really hope that the kid turns up and that they find the person they think went through the ice.

What floors me is the guy that called the cops saying, "I think I hear someone yelling for help on the river". Why wouldn't you go help? By the time any emergency service would have shown up if someone did need help they would be screwed.

    Now I need a beer...

There were guys out ice fishing on the lake the other day, when it was like 45° out AND THE MAJORITY OF THE LAKE WASN'T FROZEN YET. What the hell, people?

EDIT: Am I going to hell? My first thought on seeing that headline was, "Huh. I didn't know Andy Reid was coaching in Green Bay "
