I'd much rather see them play the winner of the Dallas/Giants game.

You can always head a little further south and come see the Eagles play.

I've actually been meaning to. I've been to baseball games down your way plenty of times (went to one this year), but never a football game.

Why would you wanna see the "dream team" play when you can drive a little further and watch a real team play? THE STEELERS!

Yeah, but you'd have to drive to friggin' Pittsburgh. Might as well go north and see the Bills. Hell, wife and I went and say the Pats play the Bills (in Buffalo) last Christmas; real nice seats in the Gronkowski cheering section, three rows off the field, only $60 a pop.

Why not drive to Green Bay as long as you are in for a road trip? Never mind, they are sold out for the next million years or so.

Best football game I've ever seen was in Pittsburgh. December 2008 Cowboys game when Pittsburgh scored all of their points in the 4th quarter to win. It was awesome. It was also about 10F.

'Cause my damn wife is a wimp about road trips. I actually told her last night that she's lucky the topic never came up before we were married or else... You get the idea. I was talking about a road trip to the Hall of Fame in Ohio and she said absolutly not. I might start planning trips on my own.

Lambeau is never really sold out. Just about every game has tickets for sale on local radio. The only NFL game I ever went to was 2008 Packers/Cowboys at Lambeau. I guess Cowboys at Lambeau is a rare event so tickets were crazy. Good seats but the Pack lost.

Holy crap! Those prices are insane! I'd spend that much just for parking and food if I went to a Jets/Giants game. Even with the plane ticket, I might spend less!

I was at that game! I flew in from San Diego(where i lived at the time) to go with my dad. I had 4 layers of clothes top to bottom on..hand warmers in my boots and gloves and I was frozen! I stoodin the back of the endzone(near the entrance) I went to grab a Yuengling and before I got back there was a layer of ice on top of my cup. It was an awesome game though!

Matt Flynn setting himself up for a nice contract with some team for next year the way he's tearing up Det defense. And Rodgers has been helping him as opposed to the previous asshat.

Speaking of defense, GB has none.

Was at GB for the game. Wow awesome game. I will be pissed if MN steals another one of our QBs by taking Flynn.

Funny thing, i've never seen Brady's or Brees' backups come in (with their best receiver sitting) and set two franchise records. MVP my ass.

Don't get too cocky Green Bay, the refs didn't exactly count all the touchdowns scored in that game, as blind as you all are, you can't dispute that.

I can't wait to see the Steeler D rip him a new icehole next week. Still incredibly pathetic that a 8-8 team got home field advantage over a 12-5 team. No team from the AFC west deserves to be in the playoffs.

6-22 for 60 yards? Looks like everyone has figured out Tebow. Steelers will crush him.

True the lions had a TD called incomplete. But didn't they score later in the same drive? Don't remember for sure. But that was the only one that went the Packs way. The refs were horrible that game, and it seemed as if almost all the bad calls went the Lions' way. The taunting call in the end zone comes to mind, as does the roughing the passer call. What a crock.

    :p

Wild, I didn't see the game but quite frankly Lions future is bright. They're not going to drop back into their old ways since they built the team from the draft & they're young. GB & DET will be the new NFC North rivalry for a while. MN is already toast and CHI is dangling on an older D thread. Take a chill pill and enjoy the ride. They'll be in the playoffs in future years as well.

As for Flynn he's been #2 since 2008 & has looked good whenever he's been in a game. Plus he's been tossing them at Nelson for a while & had Rodgers on the mic. He better be able to run the offense & McCarthy wanted to give him an opportunity to show his stuff since he is a FA next year.

Breaking news, calling someone a beast (on the field) will now be referred to as a Johnson or a Calvin. Did you see that play, that guy is a Johnson. He jumped 12 feet in the air to catch that pass, what a freaking Calvin. 244 yards, indeed.

Give a crappy team 1 good season and they want to start naming stuff after their players. Wait till you are good enough to have a player with a rule named after him. Never heard of the Johnson or Stafford rule.

If the planet ever gets atacked by aggressive space aliens, we should somehow show their leader video of the Patriots. Hopefully they would be convinced that the rest of Earth's population was almost as awesome and they would spare us.
