Is this possible or am I getting a false reading for some reason. I corrected the temp of my sample, mashed at 154*F, and as stated OG was 1.052, FG was 1.007. Was the attenuation just that good?

I over shot my gravity and got great efficiency, then this. Overall it took my amber from 5.2% to 6%! Brewers friend estimated 1.012 FG as well.

Sounds like Brewer's Friend underestimated! Danstar even advertises Nottingham's crazy attenuation on their site:

Notty is awesome... fermented my last one out by day 9. Probably was done sooner, super clear beer after cold crash/gelatin and bottled on day 14.

I like it better than SA-04 now.

Your hydrometer could be off by a point or two, but this sounds reasonable to me for Nottingham.

How about that! I never looked at their site.

It's at 1.007 after a week! It's cold crashing now. It was pretty clear even after just a week of fermentation. I'm sure It'll be crystal clear after a week long cold crash.
