New brewer question about Apfelwein

    I'm looking at the recipe http://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=14860 for making apfelwein. My question when I bottle this could I add "Fermenter's Favorite Fizz Drops" (basically just sugar) to carbonate? I have some extra from a couple beer kits. Just making sure I don't make some bottle bombs.
