    Hi all,

Planning on doing Nothern Brewer's Smashing Pumpkin tomorrow. The recipe calls for 1 oz of cluster hops for 60 minutes. If I'm doing a full boil, do you think I should reduce that? I've done some full boils and haven't reduced the hops for them, but they've been in hoppier beers. For a pumpkin, I'm afraid I'd get it too bitter. I was thinking of just cutting it by about 10%. Thoughts?

    Thanks!

I'm not sure if the recipe has changed from the last 2 years, but I have made this beer twice and been really happy both times. I don't think going to a full 5 gallon boil will make a difference.

I will say that I have a few left from last year and they taste really great right now!
