Just got a 9L party keg and plan on bottling the rest of my 21L.
If I bottle pouring my dextrose into the bottles why can't I do the same with my little keg, yes with 1/2 the sugar.

All I seem to read talks about disolving the sugar with water first, like when bulk priming.

Also at present I only have a little party keg co2 bulb adaptor so not wanting to have to purge with co2 when full. One does not have to do this with bottles. Can someone explain why it needs to be done on kegs.?

    Cheers Dave

make the syrup and pop the seat with Co2 and you're good to go!

when priming with corn sugar in a keg be sure to use 1/2 the amount that you would if you were bottling. Not sure why this is but it is a generally accepted rule of thumb.
