Just had a few pints of an amazing ale from Red Hook brewery. It was listed only as 'Red Hook Seasonal' on the menu and when i asked the girl what it was named all she said was 'apricot'. Red Hook doesn't have anything sounding similar listed on their web page. Any one have any clues? It was a nice amber color, tasted sweet and hoppy with a little apricot type of background flavor. If no one knows i guess ill have to go back an order another.

And i just remembered i took a pic of it!

I dunno, their Mudslinger is their spring seasonal. Says it's medium dark and sorta sweet. Maybe?

Yeah, that sounds like it might be about right. The description on the Red Hook site is spot on. I think i mistook the sweetness for a fruity flavor. Either way it is excellent. Guess ill have to go grab a six pack of it just to make sure.

    Thanks!
