I brewed Northern Brewing Smashing Pumpkin. Instead of the 2 rahr my LBS had I think 6 rahr. Used 3# of that and 8# of fresh pumpkin. Broke my hydrometer before I could take OG. Took first reading 10 days later and got 1.050. Had some fermentation issues so added Wyeast #1056 on 9/27 and again on 10/6 FG 1.020. Using brewedbyus calculator I should be around 5.64%. After drinking my first glass I feel a buzz. My wife is already really buzzed on #1. Anyone want to guess what my actual % is?

    Nah! 19.869%

There is no real telling. You changed the recipe and without an OG anything is just a guess.

If you had an extract kit from Northern Brewer, you used all the ingredients and achieved the proper volumes, you would be real close to what they predicted.
