My trip to the Hallertau

In 2004 I loaded up the whole family into a VW bus and drove around Bavaria. We stopped by the Ayinger Brewery and stayed in the Brewery Guesthouse. We also discovered my Mom's cousin married a hop farmer and they graciously rolled out the red carpet for us. I created a little brewers travelog which you can check out here. Enjoy the hop porn.


Back in the day, everybody in town turned out to pick hops. Here's my grandma in the fields. The girl in the basket is my aunt.

I drove through the area at about 200 km/h back in June... Loved the hop farms, but had to get the S5 back to Audi by 6:00pm...
