Took the day off from work yesterday to brew! Got to try out my 10 gallon round cooler MLT with a B3 false bottom as well as my new barley crusher and everything was great.
The day started at 8AM milling grain for the Belgian Wit and preparing all the equipment. Fast forward to 10PM. All in all when the day was over I brewed a Belgian Wit, Belgian Tripple, Transferred another batch to the secondary, and cleaned 3 cases of 22 oz bottles (1/2 of which I didnt clean when I last used them 2 years ago).
The good...got a lot taken care of
    The bad... cleaning bottles
The worst... carrying all that damn water nice and high to sparge

Lesson learned I AM BUYING A PUMP

We now have 3 pumps. We always say "Sure Glad we have these pumps". We never went the bottling route as one of my brew partners had done that and was eager to brew, but not bottle.

I didnt mind bottling the high gravity brews since I like to stockpile and let them age. After yesterday I can tell you I am more than temped to stock up on kegs and just go that route

I have one of those magic chef freezers that people fit 6 cornys in with a collar, just havent gotten around to converting it. One thing I remember from my old brew days... you never run out of things to spend your money on with this hobby.

There is always"just one more thing". We have some kegs over a year old and age our largers at least 4 months. We have a large freezer that hold 14 kegs (free off craigslist) and a large kegerator that holds 13. We have 27 corney kegs!

That is awesome. That many kegs at today's prices can almost suffice as a retirement plan. I remember paying 30- 35 out the door last time I bought one. 2 5 gallons and one 2.5 gallon keg is what I have right now. Time to make some friends :mug:
