Hey all... long time lurker, first time poster.

I have brewed several (15ish) batches of beer. however this is the first time this has happened to me. granted I forgot about this batch and its been sitting since Nov 26th

thoughts on what this is? mold? yeast growth? other? i have had one previous batch have something similar but not to this extreme (2-3 small spots) i keged it anyway and it didn't seem to affect the flavor. however I am on the fence with this batch.

    its not "fuzzy" or "hairy"

since you can keg, you should pull a sample & taste it. if it tastes ok keg it & drink it ...sooner rather than later.

I'm going with Brett. I've only had lacto in my sour beers but the pellicle usually looks thicker. FWIW, I've had plenty of Brett only pellicle though...
