My wife's favorite beer is modelo and i have been wanting to try a lager so thought i would give it a shot. I found two recipes and entered both into brew target. For some reason, on both recipes my OG is coming in significatnly lower than the recipes states. Never had this issue with anything else. So, am i safe just increasing all the malts till i hit the desired OG or should i just increase the base?

    Thanks in advance!

(Oh here is one of the recipes)

Im coming in with an og of 1.038, not 1.044

Does your efficiency match the 81% in the recipe?

42 ppg from corn starch seems kind of high to me, that's the number for a straight sugar addition.
