This looks interesting, anybody have any experience with this equipment?

Saw that this morning, but still only heats or cools, still makes the effort of an stc 1000 worth it, in my humble opinion

    I agree, STC 1000 FTW.
They say "switch from cool to heat with the press of a button"
    Can't it switch automatically?

Honestly, STC 1000s are so cheap, good, and easy that I'm not sure why anyone would use anything else.

It sounds like you need to swap heat and cool. So for me, that's stupid. I can't just camp by my fermenter all day and night waiting for it to swing in temp.

I was pretty interested until I see the long probe is another $30. Might just get an Analog Johnson Control unit

I get all the hype on the STC-1000, it can heat (even though I don't use my heat function) and my keezer is both used for fermenting and serving duties but my STC-1000 **** the bed this morning in less than 2 months, so I might be the only one not on that bandwagon.

    Signed,
Guy with a keezer that is sitting unplugged until I get a replacement :(
